The "Players Going Home" program is part of the MLBPA's and MLB's $30 million jointly-funded and jointly-administered Youth Development Foundation.

Through the “Players Going Home” program, the MLBPA and MLB provide the resources to help Players demonstrate their gratitude and appreciation to those who have helped them along the path to Major League success – either in their hometowns and/or the places they now call home.

"Players Going Home" activities cover a wide range of activities and venues, and most are supported with a financial contribution from the Youth Development Foundation to local charitable organizations on behalf of the participating Players.

"Players Going Home" events have been held across the Unted States in support of Curtis Granderson, Felix Hernandez, Adam Jones, Andrew McCutchen, Wil Myers, CC Sabathia, Hector Santiago (pictured here) and Mike Trout.
