Players unanimously extend Executive Director Tony Clark's contract

IRVING, Texas, Nov. 28 -- Players unanimously extended Executive Director Tony Clark's contract through 2022 at the Major League Baseball Players Association's annual Executive Board meeting.

Meeting from Monday through Wednesday, player representatives also elected pitchers Max Scherzer and James Paxton to the union's Executive Subcommittee.

The union's charitable arm, the Players Trust, announced it is making a $100,000 donation to California Strong in support of rebuilding efforts in the aftermath of wild fires that have devastated the state.
