Players Reach Tentative Agreement with Owners

Irving, TX, Wednesday, November 30, 2016 … The Major League Baseball Players Association tonight announced that it has tentatively agreed to the terms and conditions of a new 5-year collective bargaining agreement with Major League Baseball Club owners.

The collectively bargained terms and conditions are being drafted into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and will be announced when that process is complete.

Said MLBPA Executive Director, Tony Clark: “I want to thank the Players for working diligently for more than a year to negotiate an agreement that, when finalized, will benefit all involved in the game and leaves the game better for those who follow.”
