SECURITY

Carlos Barron will be on-site in Seattle. Please reach out to him should any security needs arise.

In conjunction with Law enforcement in Seattle the following guidance was provided for MLBPA staff while working and participating in the upcoming All-Star events. Carlos has been alerted there will be an increased security presence throughout downtown in advance and during All-Star week.

Seattle is a safe city but MLBPA security to abide by the following rules:

Use the buddy system when walking around downtown in the evening.
Stay alert while walking around (off your phone and head on a swivel). Bad actors will only take advantage of those individuals that are distracted.
If it doesn’t feel right…it’s not right.
As most of you live in NYC simply trust those instincts.

TICKETS & CREDENTIALS

Credentials: Melba will be distributing credentials at the Westin (staff hotel) beginning on Thursday (7/6) out of the Blakely conference room. She will distribute credentials to anyone who is on site. If you have any questions or issues reach out to her on her cell: 917-696-6708.

Tickets: As a reminder, ticket requests were due 4/19. If you did not request tickets via the All-Star Ticket Request Form circulated in early April, please email Melba ASAP individually to request tickets. There is no guarantee late requests will be granted.

Melba will distribute tickets digitally. Please make sure you have downloaded the MLB Ballpark App (This is where your tickets will be populated).

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation: Please use Lyft/Uber to and from the airport.

There will be buses running from the hotels to T-Mobile Park.

Above are the three different shuttle routes (red, blue, and yellow) and the hotels that will be serviced by those bus routes. NOTE: The Westin Hotel is not included as a service stop. MLBPA staff should use the Hyatt Regency stop, which is walking distance from the Westin.

These routes will run on Saturday 7/8, Monday 7/10, and Tuesday 7/11. The first departures from hotels on each day will be at 1:45 p.m.

The Media entrance will be just to the right of the Homeplate gate (on Edgar Martinez Drive side). The Credentialed Staff entrance will be just to the left of Homeplate gate (on 1st Ave. side).

Please remember to add a space between MLB and ASG2023 to find the event
