NEW YORK, July 28 – The MLBPA, MLSPA, NBPA, NFLPA, NHLPA, WNBPA, USWNTPA and NWLSPA fully support our brothers and sisters in labor at SAG-AFTRA and the WGA as they courageously put their livelihoods on the line to fight for what all workers are entitled to – dignity, fair wages, proper benefits and respect on the job.
Their well-founded cause and rallying voices are familiar ones. A number of our former player members are now actors and writers on the front lines of the strikes. They, like all human laborers, deserve a fair deal that reflects their irreplaceable and immense value within the industry.
