The Union Behind the Uniform
We’re the MLBPA—the union protecting the rights and amplifying the voices of professional baseball Players.
The Major League Baseball Players Association is the union that represents players on the 40-man Major League rosters, as well as approximately 5,500 Minor League players employed by the 30 Major League baseball teams.

Through the Major League Baseball Players Association, Players collectively bargain for, defend, and advance their workplace rights, benefits, and common interests, from the time they sign their first contract through retirement, always mindful of the sacrifices of those who came before them and their responsibilities to those who will follow.
