About
Marcus Semien made three All-Star teams while collecting two Silver Slugger Awards, two Gold Gloves and a World Championship ring over his first 13 MLB seasons. During stops with the White Sox, A’s, Blue Jays, Rangers and now Mets, Semien has had an impact on the field and in the community. He has advocated for increased diversity in baseball through his work with the Players Alliance and Coaching Corps and been a four-time recipient of the MLBPAA’s Heart and Hustle Award, which honors Players who demonstrate a passion for the game and embody its values, spirit and traditions. The San Francisco native has been at the forefront of Player leadership as a team Player Representative and a member of the MLBPA executive subcommittee over multiple CBA negotiations.
