The Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) today announced that veteran attorney Jeff Perconte has been promoted to the role of General Counsel, a position previously held by Matt Nussbaum, who was appointed interim deputy executive director last month.

The Executive Board of the Major League Baseball Players Association today voted unanimously to appoint Bruce Meyer as Interim Executive Director and Matt Nussbaum as Interim Deputy Executive Director.

The Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) announced today Tony Clark has resigned as executive director. Clark joined the MLBPA staff as director of player relations in 2010 and succeeded Michael Weiner as executive director in 2013.
