Supporting the communities our Players come from remains a priority. This holiday season, we partnered with Juan Soto to deliver boxes of food to more than 500 families in his community, helping ensure more households had what they needed during a time of year that can be especially challenging.

With the support of Soto’s family, local volunteers, and community leaders, the distribution became more than a service event, it became a meaningful moment of connection and care. Families arrived throughout the day, and the atmosphere reflected the best of what community looks like when people show up for one another: generosity, pride, and a shared commitment to helping neighbors.

Juan’s decision to return home and invest directly in the people and places that shaped him reflects what so many Players stand for. The MLBPA is proud to support efforts like this that uplift communities and strengthen the ties between Players and the hometowns that continue to support them.
