MLBPA Honors Historic WBC Milestone with Santo Domingo School Visit

For the first time in the 20-year history of the World Baseball Classic, a Latin American team held preparatory games in its home country. To commemorate this historic milestone for the Dominican Republic, the Major League Players Association reaffirmed its members’ commitment to the community by visiting a school in Santo Domingo. Joined by former players Francisco Cordero and José Veras, the group delivered educational materials and food to the children of the institution.
