MLBPA reaches an agreement for the Winter Leagues

The MLBPA is pleased to have reached an agreement with the Commissioner’s office regarding the participation of our Player membership in the Winter Leagues. The Winter Leagues have long served an important role in baseball as they provide an opportunity for both Minor and Major League players to develop and gain exposure.  It is with this in mind that we negotiated changes that will serve to expand opportunities for Players to participate in Winter League play.
