The Finance department has significant and diversified areas of responsibilities including planning organizing, and maintaining the payables, receivables, and payroll of the Players Association, MLB Players Trust (“Players Trust”) , and MLB Players, Inc. Examples of some major responsibilities include quarterly and annual tax reporting, the annual labor report, tax returns, financial reports/statements, and implementation and evaluation of internal controls.
INTERNATIONAL AND DOMESTIC PLAYER OPERATIONS
The International and Domestic Player Operations department is directly involved and responsible for the following areas: International Entry, International Play, Special and Domestic Events, Joint Programs and Fund with MLB, Player Programs, All-Star and Communications to Players with a focus on Latin Players.
The Communications department is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating all media messaging, official releases and announcements, and social media initiatives on behalf of the Players Association, in accordance with the overall communications strategy developed by the Executive Director...
