Statement from Executive Director Tony Clark on the passing of Tim Wakefield

Tim Wakefield was a respected competitor, a generous soul and a beloved member of the baseball community for more than three decades as a player and a broadcaster.

As a former teammate, my heart goes out to Stacy, Trevor and Brianna, as we at the MLBPA, along with the baseball family, mourn his loss.
