Brent Suter

Brent Suter, the 2025 Marvin Miller Man of the Year, has provided leadership and a steady, reliable voice in his role as an MLBPA Player representative. His off-field contributions have been highlighted time and again, with multiple nominations for the prestigious Roberto Clemente Award. Suter graduated with a degree in environmental science and public policy at Harvard University and has used his platform as an athlete to draw attention to the effects of climate change, the global crisis of plastic waste and other environmental causes. A Cincinnati native, Suter has posted a career 42-24 record with a 3.57 ERA over 10 MLB seasons with the Brewers, Rockies and Reds before signing as a free agent with the Angels in February 2026. He logged 301 of his first 348 Major League appearances out of the bullpen.
