About

Cedric Mullins, a North Carolina native, was a standout student-athlete at Brookwood High School in Snellville, Ga., before moving on to Louisburg College (where he maintained a 4.0 Grade Point Average) and Campbell University. After signing with Baltimore as a 13th round draft pick in 2015, he made his big league debut with the Orioles in 2018. In 2021, Mullins won a Silver Slugger Award, made the American League All-Star team as Baltimore’s starting center fielder, and became the first Player to log a 30-homer, 30-steal season since the franchise moved from St. Louis to Baltimore in 1954. In 2023, against Pittsburgh, he became the seventh Player in franchise history to hit for the cycle. After a two-month stint with the New York Mets in 2025, he signed as a free agent with Tampa Bay. Mullins currently serves on the Executive Subcommittee as an Alternate Pension Committee representative.
