Tarik Skubal

Tarik Skubal built upon his record of achievement as one of the elite pitchers of his era in 2025. He was named the American League's Outstanding Pitcher in the Players Choice Awards for the second straight year, while becoming only the 12th pitcher in history to win back-to-back Cy Young Awards (and the first to achieve the feat since the New York Mets' Jacob deGrom in 2018-19).
