About
Ross Stripling, a Pennsylvania native, signed with the Dodgers as a fifth-round pick out of Texas A&M in the 2012 draft. He spent nine years in the big leagues with the Dodgers, Blue Jays, A’s and Giants and was a 2018 National League All-Star. He spoke of the importance of Player unity in his role as Toronto’s Player Representative during the 2022 CBA talks. “The owners were torn in some regards,’’ Stripling said. “There are some teams that really didn't want the CBT to go up. There are some owners that just weren't on the same page, so we're fighting that when they're fighting each other. And we held steadfast on what we believed in. We think it's reasonable.”
