About

Michael Conforto has spent 10 years in the majors as a power-hitting outfielder with the Mets, Giants and Dodgers. After missing the entire 2022 season with a shoulder injury, the Seattle native bounced back to hit 15 homers for San Francisco and emerge as a 2023 finalist for National League Comeback Player. Conforto was a Player Representative for several years in New York and remained engaged in CBA talks during the Covid-shortened 2021 season. “It showed me the power of our union, the unity of the players,’’ he said at the time. “As we went closer to this 60-game area that we ended up in, the guys kept getting more and more unified and it was kind of incredible to watch.”
